On April 9, 2011, I attended the charity event benefitting the Much Love Animal Rescue (www.muchlove.org), sponsored by MODNIQUE (www.modnique.com), held at the upscale Barrington Dog Park. A chance for animal lovers and celebrities to raise awareness for animals in need of love, and a loving place to live.
According to the MUCHLOVE.ORG website, Much Love is a non-profit organization which is run by dedicated volunteers who take their time in protecting and caring for their animals, then placing them in loving residences. They have placed 3,000 animals since their inception in 1999. Some of Much Love care includes rescuing stray animals and providing a non-kill protected shelter, preventing these pets from becoming euthanized. In addition, Much Love also provides health care to injured or sick pets.
